About MeMy name is April Jingco, and I am a marketing, communications, and project management professional based in Seattle, Washington. My professional experience includes creative branding, project management, marketing, communications, and public relations. I am currently pursuing my Global MBA degree at Yonsei University with the goal of expanding my global understanding of business.
My goal is to utilize my skills and creativity to support the greater arts and culture industry, specifically centering our most marginalized communities. I have worked with larger organizations such as Artist Home, Northwest Folklife, and Friends of the Waterfront while also directly working with independent artists such as SassyBlack and Iska Dhaaf. As an avid music-lover, outside of work, you can find me going to shows at my favorite local venues, visiting record shops to hunt for my favorite albums, and learning to cook Filipino food using my mom's recipes. |

Nicole Dansereau, Director of Marketing for Friends of Waterfront Park
April is not only an amazing marketing strategist but also just a lovely person to work with. When I was looking to promote my short film, April created a thoughtful, in depth marketing plan to make sure the project would be well received, which it was. She also helped me to develop a series of customizable social media content plans that I still use to this day.
She is not really someone you can put in a box in terms of her skillsets. She also helped me with organizing my merch for shows and creating a strategy that would get more sales. Overall, April is kind, caring and talented and an asset to anyone who is lucky enough to have her on their project or team.

April was the most creative, energetic and effective social media manager that we ever had. The faucet of ideas was always flowing, and the quality of her work (photography, design, copy) was second to none. She increased our social media following 3-fold in a short amount of time, and we know they were legitimate followers because we still have them to this day. April has the Midas touch for social media marketing -- she consistently produces results and is downright fun to work with.
